The second Sunday of November is not only Veteran’s Sunday it is also Veteran’s Day. It is also the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, which was signed at 11 a.m. Nov. 11, 1918, ending the Great War. The 15th Street United Methodist Church will pause during worship for a simple yet meaningful and effective to commemoration this day. At 11 a.m., the church bell will be rung 11 times as veterans past and present are remembered for all their sacrifices on behalf of the country. All are welcome to join in worship for this special remembrance.
