Paul Fagley will present "The Romantic Days of Juniata Iron" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Huntingdon County Historical Society Exhibit Gallery. When talking of the great iron-making centers of Pennsylvania, places like Pittsburgh, Johnstown, and Bethlehem come to mind. One region stands out as conspicuously absent today, yet through much of the 19th century was known round the world as the origin of some of the best iron made — the Juniata Valley.
