Observations is an exhibit combining the art of John Sullivan and Art DeCamp. John Sullivan took art appreciation classes in college. He vowed to learn how to paint and finally took up watercolors when he turned sixty. He has continued to explore the world of painting in different media and subjects, and has coupled some of his artwork with writing. Art DeCamp specializes in the authentic replication and historically accurate restoration of powder horns. He is recognized as a Master Horner by the Honourable Company of Horners and is highly skilled at the craft of using horn as a medium for a wide range of horn items including powder horns, cups, utensils, and other historical items. The opening reception will be from 6 to 8 pm. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit is open through Saturday, Sept. 28.
