Interested adopters can either visit the Central PA Humane Society at 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, or call (814) 942-5402. Hours are 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours Friday from 12:30 to 7 p.m.
Hunter is a nine-month-old collie/German shepherd mix. He is looking for an active family. He loves older kids and dogs, but he’s too energetic for cats.
Noelle is a beautiful, one-year-old, spayed female cat. She is a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly. She loves to play, so kids of all ages are great.
Spike is a sweet old guy looking for a new family to make his golden years the best of his life! He is a very loving boy who likes walks and resting in the sun.
Dusty is a shy, eight-year-old male cat. He started life as a barn cat, but his owner took him in and loved him. Sadly, his owner passed away, and now Dusty needs a new family. He gets along well with older children and other cats.
