State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to Cove Mountain Road, Taylor Township, at 5:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision. Tanya-Lee Horton, 49, of James Creek, was traveling east on Cove Mountain Road when she struck a vehicle being driven by Lane S. Kreider, 23, of Martinsburg, and both vehicles traveled east. Horton then struck Kreider’s vehicle again before both came to a final rest. Horton is suspected to have sustained minor injuries.
Logan Township Police were dispatched to the 600 building of Campus View Drive at 11:21 p.m. on Jan. 12, after receiving reports of a physical disturbance between several females. At the scene, officers found a large party with 96 college students inside of the apartment. There was loud music and multiple signs of underage drinking. Antonio Benedetti, 19, of Cazenovia, N.Y., and Francisco Pipe Guerra, 19, of Perry Hall, Md., were charged with the Logan Township disorderly gathering ordinance, as well as purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or brewed beverages.
Tyrone Borough Police were dispatched to the Sheetz along Logan Avenue, Tyrone, at 8:06 p.m. on Dec. 24, after receiving reports of a disturbance. Michael J. Weyer, of Tyrone, claimed that the occupants of a rental car had hit his truck with their car door, so he chased down their vehicle and punched the rear windshield, shattering the window. Officers checked Weyer’s truck for damage, but there were no matching marks on either vehicle. Weyer was cited for criminal mischief.
