State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to investigate a crash that occurred along I-99 around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Caitlin A. Nedimyer, 33, of Altoona, was traveling north on I-99 when she lost control of her vehicle on the ice-covered bridge. The vehicle spun clockwise; the front driver’s side impacted the concrete bridge barrier. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Hollidaysburg are investigating a theft that was reported on Oct. 28. A Smith & Wesson .357 revolver was reportedly stolen from a residence at Phoenix Lane, Tyrone.

State Police at Clearfield were dispatched to the Dollar General in Houtzdale around 2 p.m. on Nov. 9, after receiving reports of retail theft. Shannon Irwin, 30, of Houtzdale, was found to have stolen a tee-shirt valued at $10, and a writing tablet valued at $3. Charges of retail theft will be filed through Magisterial District Judge 46-3-04.
