Huntingdon State Police report an incident of harassment physical contact occurred on June 8, at 10:55 p.m. along Warriors Mark Path in Warriors Mark Township. On the above date and time Eric Gillingham, 35, of Clearfield punched the female victim, 44, of Warriors Mark in the face. Charges have been filed on Gillingham.
Clearfield State Police report a theft all other occurred on June 11, at 4:35 p.m. in Decatur Twp. State Police received a report of a utility trailer which had been stolen from a yard in Decatur Township. The yard is located near SR 53 and the Nittany Mini-Mart. The trailer is approximately 15 feet in length and black in color, with a wooden plank deck. This is a utility trailer used for hauling a lawn mower or ATV. The trailer was stolen sometime between Saturday, June 8, and Tuesday, June 11. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Southern at PSP Clearfield at (814) 857-3800.
Hollidaysburg State Police recently reported a theft by deception impersonation occurred along Lower Clover Road in Woodbury Township. State Police are investigating a scam incident where the unknown actor claimed to be a Blair County Sheriff’s Deputy and advised that money was needed to be sent via a prepaid gift card in order for the victim, a 45-year old male from Williamsburg, to not be arrested. The public is advised that no law enforcement agency anywhere in this nation would ever request prepaid gift cards in order to prevent an arrest or bail money.
Hollidaysburg State Police recently reported a theft all other occurred on May 3, at 12 p.m. along Old Rt 22 in Juniata Township. The incident occurred when an unknown actor(s) used the victim’s credit card information to make fraudulent purchases. The value of the theft was $85.16.
Logan Township Police report a crash occurred on June 11, at 4:32 p.m. along W. Plank Road. Donna Ricche, 77, of Altoona, stated that her foot got caught underneath the pedal, causing the unit to jump a curb in front of Red Robin, continuing on through the parking lot striking another curb and a PennDOT sign.
Logan Township Police recently reported an incident of receiving stolen property and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds occurred on May 9, at the Perkins Restaurant on Pleasant Valley Blvd in Altoona. Tina McCloskey, 51, of Hollidaysburg, did fail to to make two bank deposits from the restaurant where she was employed as the manager. The deposits totaled $1,652.92
