State Police at Huntingdon were dispatched to a residence along Main Street, Wood Township, at 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2021, after receiving reports of theft. Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned that Shane Rickabaugh, 34, of Riddlesburg, and Travis Sloas, 31, of Everett, had attempted to steal a catalytic converter. They were unable to complete the theft but caused damage to the victim’s vehicle. Rickabaugh and Sloas were arrested for attempted theft and criminal mischief.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to Tipton Road, Antis Township, at 4:34 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision. The crash occurred as Randy L. Dunlap, 71, of Fallentimber, was traveling north on Tipton Road and Patrick R. Brown, 51, of Clearfield, was traveling south. Dunlap drifted into the south-bound lane as he was negotiating a right curve in the road, then the front of his vehicle struck Brown’s vehicle before hitting an embankment off of the north-bound shoulder. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to I-99, Freedom Township, at 11:33 a.m. on Dec. 20, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. James Yauneridge, 54, of Duncansville, was traveling on I-99 when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. This caused the commercial vehicle that he was driving to overturn and roll over into a ditch on the right shoulder of the exit ramp. The vehicle came to a final stop on its roof. Yauneridge was transported to Conemaugh at Nason Hospital for possible injuries.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to South Route Highway, Taylor Township, at 1:55 p.m. on Dec. 21, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision. The crash occurred as Delilah R. Kennedy, 41, of New Enterprise, was traveling south-bound on State Route 36 and Shelby A. Ebersole, 19, of Roaring Spring, was traveling east-bound on Classon Road. As Kennedy approached the intersection with Classon Road, Ebersole failed to yield the right of way and proceeded to enter the intersection. Kennedy then struck Ebersole’s vehicle and overturned. Both vehicles suffered disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. Ebersole was transported to UPMC Altoona for suspected serious injuries.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to Charger Highway, Blair Township, at 6:26 a.m. on Dec. 23, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Brianna N. Tabor, 23, of Altoona, was traveling at a reportedly high speed when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a guide rail. After that, her vehicle continued down an embankment before coming to a final stop against a tree. Both Tabor and her passenger were transported to UPMC Altoona for suspected minor injuries.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to Courtesy Motors parking lot in Altoona, at 9 a.m. on Dec. 23, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Joshua P. McCleester, 30, of Port Matilda, was leaving the parking lot of Courtesy Motors when the trailer that he was towing struck a parked vehicle, causing damage.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to I-99, Antis Township, at 2:41 p.m. on Dec. 25, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Allison C. Mader, 44, of North Andover, was traveling north on I-99 when she lost control of her vehicle on the wet road, traveled across the lanes of travel and onto the grass median. Her vehicle then slid counter clockwise and struck a center cable barrier. It continued to spin counter clockwise before coming to a final stop in the grass median. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to I-99, Snyder Township, at 1:01 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Tania W. Moncada Chacon, 44, of North Miami, Fla., was traveling south on I-99 when her vehicle began sliding on the roadway. Her vehicle then left the roadway and entered the berm, where its undercarriage struck several large boulders before coming to a final stop. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to South Eagle Valley Road, Snyder Township, at 6:36 a.m. on Dec. 28, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Jason W. Gummo, 46, of Tyrone, was traveling north on South Eagle Valley Road when his vehicle began to slide. Gummo then lost control of his vehicle and hit a guard rail before coming to a final stop. The vehicle suffered disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to U.S. Route 22, Allegheny Township, at 12:19 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision. Tyler P. Henry, 25, of Connellsville, was driving on U.S. Route 22 in the right lane of travel when he struck the vehicle being driven by Kelly A. Armour, 54, of Lower Burrell. Henry’s vehicle spun on the roadway and hit the median cable barrier before coming to a final stop. Armour’s vehicle came to a final stop in the left lane of travel. Both vehicles suffered disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. Armour was transported to a hospital with suspected minor injuries.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to Royer Mountain Road, Woodbury Township, at 1:08 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Shaun P. Ross, 36, of Williamsburg, was traveling east on Piney Creek Road when he attempted to make a left turn onto Royer Mountain Road. He made the turn too quickly and subsequently lost control of his vehicle, driving off of the left side of the roadway. Ross’s vehicle struck a tree before coming to a final stop. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to Woodbury Pike, Taylor Township, at 2:13 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2021, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision. Randy Harris, 35, of Martinsburg, was traveling east on Woodbury Pike when he crossed the center turning lane and hit a vehicle being driven by Bryant G. Will, 34, of East Freedom. After that, a piece of debris from the crash flew up and struck the windshield of the vehicle being driven by Ashley A. Hazlett, 24, of Roaring Spring. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Huntingdon were dispatched to a residence along Little Valley Road, Carbon Township, at 9:19 a.m. on Jan. 3, after receiving reports of theft. Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned that Ryan Rogers, 28, of Broad Top, and Travis Sloas, 31, of Everett, had attempted to cut a catalytic converter off of a U-Haul truck. Shianna Knechtel, 26, of Hopewell, drive them to the location in a vehicle that she did not have permission to use and was waiting in the area to pick them up after the theft.

State Police at Hollidaysburg were dispatched to I-99, Snyder Township, at 12:04 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Maxwell T. Empson, 20, of Franklin, was traveling north on I-99 in the left lane of travel when he lost control of his vehicle and began to spin counter clockwise. His vehicle struck the concrete traffic barrier on the left side of the roadway before coming to a final stop. No injuries were sustained.

State Police at Huntingdon were dispatched to Warriors Mark Road, Franklin Township, at 3:08 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision. Gary W. Shoemaker, 54, of Pennsylvania Furnace, was driving behind Roger A. Larson Sr., 55, of Bellefonte, on Warriors Mark Road. As Larson approached the stop sign at the intersection with Spruce Creek Road, he began to slow down. Shoemaker was following too closely and subsequently struck Larson’s vehicle. Larson reportedly sustained a possible neck injury. Shoemaker was cited for following too closely.
