Hollidaysburg State Police report a crash occurred on February 11, at approximately 6 a.m. on I-99 at mile marker 21 north of the Dunnings Highway. A vehicle operated by Tamara J. Dell, 51, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, was traveling south on I-99 when Dell lost control of the vehicle, a Freight liner, and began to fishtail. The truck subsequently jack knifed and struck an impact attenuator located in the center median with the passenger side of the truck tractor. After impact the truck overturned onto its passenger side. The truck came to a final rest facing east across the center median with the truck passenger side overturned across the north bound lane of I-99 and the trailer across the southbound left lane of I-99. Dell was transported by ambulance to UPMC Altoona with unknown injuries sustained during there crash.


Logan Township Police report a scattering of rubbish occurred on January 22, on Old Mill Run Lane, in the area of Dream Lane. In the early morning hours on the date mentioned, a mattress and box springs were dumped along the roadway at the above location. Anyone with information regarding this illegal dumping is asked to call the Logan Township Police department at (814) 949-3364.

Logan Township Police report a retail theft occurred on February 8, at approximately 12:14 p.m. at Boscov’s Department Store. On February 7, it was reported to the Logan Township police that a retail theft occurred at the Boscov’s Department Store. Boscov’s is reporting that the female suspect, Monica Depaul, of Huntingdon, allegedly stole an assortment of clothing valued at $70.98. This incident was caught on video.
