Timothy S. Ingram, 55, of West 12th Street, Tyrone is charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic incident Jan. 10 around 1 a.m.

An officer of PSP Hollidaysburg was dispatched to the emergency room of UPMC Altoona after they reported a domestic assault. The victim was interviewed in the ER around 4 a.m. She related that she and the defendant had been out at a bar and engaged in a verbal argument over money. The victim said that she left and later got a ride home. The victim related that when she went inside, she threw money at Ingram, who was intoxicated. Ingram then allegedly shoved her to the ground, punched her in the face, and hit her head off the floor several times. The victim contacted a family member, who transported her to the hospital for medical treatment. The victim was observed to have injuries to her face and her left eye.

The officer went to the address in Tyrone where the incident occurred and attempted, but was unable to make contact with Ingram.

A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 26 at 9 a.m. before MDJ Miller.
