Alicia Joy (Lewis) Smith, 29, of Altoona and formerly of Tyrone, passed away Friday April 30, 2021.

She was born in Tyrone, the daughter of James and Kim (Warner) Lewis, who survive. May 22, 2015 she married William Smith Jr., who survives. Also surviving are three children, Ayven Lewis, Lexie and Jaclyn Smith, all at home; two sisters, Jaime (James) Lewis of Williamsport and Heather (Travis) Bartlebaugh of Tipton; one nephew, Trever Bartlebaugh; a cousin, Jeffrey (Samantha) Warner II; in-laws, William (Mary) Smith Sr; and brothers-in-law, Aaron and Cody Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jaqueline Smith; grandparents, Leo and Jean Warner, and Samuel and Joyce Lewis.

Alicia was employed at UPMC Altoona. Prior to that she was at Mt. Nittany and worked in urology and family medicine, and Epworth Manor. She was a 2010 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. Alicia’s greatest joy was her children.

An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Feller Memorial Home, with Jim Woomer officiating. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m., as well as Thursday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park. In accordance with the CDC, masks are asked to be worn and social distancing will be observed.
