The Bellwood-Antis boys basketball team got back to the winning side and improved to .500 with a 59-48 win on the road at Moshannon Valley on Friday night.

After being held to four points in a loss to Southern Fulton on Wednesday and not playing due to illness in a win over Juniata Valley on Monday, Mason Yingling got himself going again with 25 points. He made half of the Blue Devils’ four three-pointers on the night, and went 7-for-7 from the foul line.

Nathan Wolfe added 17 points.

“It was a good win,” said Bellwood-Antis head coach Kevin Conlon. “We had solid defense all night. We had multiple chances to pull away to 20-25 points and just couldn’t do it, which was disappointing. But it was good to see Mason get going again.”

Alex Kitko paced the Black Knights with 16 points.

Bellwood (5-5) returns home on Monday as they entertain Claysburg-Kimmel.
