District 6 released its boys and girls playoff basketball brackets on Monday, with all four local teams taking part in the postseason.

The Tyrone boys drew the third seed in the four-team Class 4A field and will travel to Central for the semifinals on Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. A win for the Golden Eagles, which split their two meetings with Central this season, would put them in the district championship on Feb. 22 at Penn State Altoona.

The Tyrone girls earned the No. 2 seed in the Class 3A Tournament and will face the winner of No. 7 United-No. 10 Westmont Hilltop at the Tyrone Middle School on Feb. 21.

The Bellwood-Antis boys are the fifth seed in the AAA Tournament and will visit No. 4 West Shamokin on Feb. 22 in the quarterfinals.

Finally, the Bellwood-Antis girls is the No. 4 seed in the Class AA Tournament and will host No. 5 Bishop McCort on Feb. 20 in the district quarterfinals.
