SPE board chairman Richard Harris and the board of directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Reisigner and Lonnie Woomer to the SPE Board of Directors.

Lonnie Woomer was introduced to Huntingdon as a Juniata College student and made Huntingdon her permanent home following graduate school. She is currently the executive director of Mainstream Counseling where she has been a therapist for 33 years. Lonnie is an active participant on several advisory boards in Huntingdon County and an involved member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. She is married with two children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, learning new professional techniques and is passionate about helping others.

Andrew Reisinger was born and reared in Clearfield. He has been a member of the Penn State Budget Office for just over 32 years, having started soon after graduating from Penn State with a B.S. in finance. A career as a car salesman in the family-owned Ford business was short-lived and Andy found his way back to PSU. Andy has had many different responsibilities during his tenure with the Budget Office. Currently as budget director he supervises all the budget staff who are responsible for developing and monitoring the $6.5+ billion university budget, projecting and monitoring tuition income and testing new budget models. Andy also participates in many external committees to provide financial prospective related to various university wide issues. Andy is a charter member and Sergeant-at-Arms of the State Sunrise Rotary Club. He is also a 2011 Leadership Centre County graduate. Andy resides in State College with his wife Leann and his occasionally-home son Drew, a Penn State student.

“We are thrilled to welcome Andrew and Lonnie to the SPE Board of Directors and we are confident that their backgrounds will be an asset to the credit union,” said Michael Meier, CEO of SPE.

The following SPE Board members will serve as the organization’s recently appointed officers. Richard Harris as board chair, Jay Muir as vice chair, Jeff VanHorn as treasurer, Andrew Reisinger as assistant treasurer, and Wendy Vinhage as secretary. In addition to the board officers, SPE has 5 additional volunteers serving on the board of directors. They include, Larry Cramer, Joe Herrle, Mike Kipphan, Bradley Lunsford and the newly appointed Lonnie Woomer. SPE’s Board of Directors is made of members who lend their expertise to help guide the direction and mission of the credit union. Their hard work and time are greatly appreciated and valued by SPE.
