Old-Time Photo

The past and present unite to map out the future of the historic East Broad Top Railroad. Earlier this year, plans were announced for the return of the EBT to full-time tourist service in 2021, with limited activities scheduled for 2020. This scene shows the EBT railroad complex at Rockhill looking north from the stem locomotive watering facility. There are “big plans” in the works for the 33-mile-long National Historic Landmark which will focus on all aspects of the former coal-hauling, narrow gauge railroad.
