The Huntingdon County Dairy Scholarship Committee would like to invite qualified candidates to apply for the 2021 Huntingdon County Dairy Scholarship. Multiple scholarships are available for distribution.

To qualify for the Huntingdon County Dairy Scholarship the applicant must be:

1.) A Huntingdon County resident graduating from high school or completing the requirements for a GED.

2.) Accepted and enrolled in a post secondary school (i.e. vocational, trade, business), or college program of study that will result in a degree or diploma.

3.) An individual who has shown dairy cattle at the Huntingdon County Junior Dairy Show or has been active in the Dairy Princess Program two out of the last four years, or has served one year as the Huntingdon County Dairy Princess and has met all the incentive requirements for a Dairy Princess.

4.) A positive role model for his/her community and the dairy industry.

5.) Applicants may receive this scholarship one time only.

Qualified applicants must submit a completed application and two letters of reference to the Huntingdon County Extension Office no later than July 30. Applicants must also be available for an interview via Zoom with a panel of judges on Aug. 4 or 5. Scholarships will be awarded during the dairy show at the Huntingdon County Fair.
