Open house planned at remodeled Kingdom Hall

ONEIDA TWP. — The newly remodeled Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 12036 Stone Creek Road, (Route 26, North), Huntingdon, will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, according to Gary O’Bryan, one of the local elders.

“We certainly appreciate all the community support we have received in this renovation project that began in September. The interior is entirely new and modern, with state-of-the-art audio and video systems, requiring much expertise to design and install, but all done by volunteer help.”

O’Bryan said that the exterior, too, has had some upgrading, including a new lighted monument sign, some new landscaping, and three new HVAC units to keep the building comfortable year round for the Bible educational programs held there each week.

“We invite our friends and neighbors to come and see what has been done by our volunteer workers. Light refreshments will be served during the hours of the open house,” he said.

The Huntingdon congregation holds regular meetings at 10 a.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Tuesday.

“Of course, all of our meetings are free of collections or solicitation, and all interested persons are warmly welcomed,” said O’Bryan.
