Community members invited to share EBT memories

CROMWELL TWP. — Community members are invited to an information and interview session for “Memories of the East Broad Top Railroad” at the Southern Huntingdon County High School auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14.

Those who have memories and stories of their own or of family members are encouraged to share their memories to be used in a historic nonfiction novel.

Local author and history enthusiast Michael Kane will be on hand to record the stories, as well as to collect photographs and any information regarding the history of the East Broad Top as a working and tourist railroad.

Community members are encouraged to share their personal or family memories, as well as to bring any photographs or historical documents to be used for the purpose of publication.
