MENNO TWP., MIFFLIN CO. — Jeremy Ross, 38, Huntingdon, has been charged by state police at Lewistown for writing a bad check to the Hildebrand Motor Co. at 193 W. Main St. totaling $129 at noon Feb. 26.
MAPLETON BORO. — State police at Huntingdon investigated a report of rape that took place on Grant Street between 10:30 a.m. May 9 and 2:30 a.m. May 10. A 19-year-old Lewistown woman told police she invited the arrestee, a 19-year-old Mount Union male, to spend the night, and while sleeping in the same bed, he partially removed clothing and attempted to engage in sexual relations with her while she was sleeping in an attempt to wake her.
MILL CREEK BORO. — State police at Huntingdon conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Route 655 at 5:46 p.m. May 7. The operator, a 30-year-old Mill Creek man, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Neglect of care
WARRIORS MARK TWP. — State police at Huntingdon report a 96-year-old Tyrone woman was allegedly physically and mentally abused while under the care of the accused suspects on Pennington Road between April 1, 2018, and Feb. 1. The investigation is ongoing.
JACKSON TWP. — State police at Huntingdon investigated a one-vehicle crash on Greenwood Road at 1:39 p.m. May 13. An unknown driver was operating an unknown vehicle in an unknown direction when they struck a mailbox, causing damage.
HUNTINGDON BORO. — State police at Huntingdon investigated a two-vehicle crash on Ninth Street west of Moore Street at 10:31 a.m. May 10. Jamie Isenberg, 67, Huntingdon, was operating a 2005 Nissan Sentra and was exiting the parking lot traveling south when it was struck by a 2017 Ford Explorer operated by Christopher Malliband, 34, Huntingdon, who was traveling west. Both vehicle sustained minor damage. Neither operator was injured and were both wearing seat belts.
