MILLER TWP. — State police at Huntingdon responded to a single vehicle crash on Standing Stone Road at 11:35 a.m. June 6 that involved drugs. The vehicle towed from the scene was a 2003 Saturn Aura.
SHIRLEY TWP. — State police at Huntingdon responded to a report of a domestic altercation between a 17-year-old female and a 15-year-old male on Croghan Pike 7:34 p.m. June 12.
WARRIORS MARK TWP. — A 31-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, both of Warriors Mark, were cited for harassment for engaging in a verbal altercation that turned physical on Reese Road at 10:53 a.m. June 8.
TELL TWP. — A 43-year-old Fannettsburg man has been cited with criminal mischief by state police at Huntingdon for an incident on Tuscarora Creek Road at 7:04 p.m. June 12. Police report the Fannettsburg man arrived at the home of his ex-wife’s boyfriend, a 46-year-old Blairs Mills man, kicked the front door and garage door, causing damage to both.
CROMWELL TWP. — State police at Huntingdon conducted a traffic stop at Sandy Ridge Station and Cromwell Street at 7:14 p.m. June 10. As a result, drugs were seized from the vehicle, and charges were filed against Emily Adkins, 23, St. Thomas.
SMITHFIELD TWP. — State police at Huntingdon investigated a one-vehicle crash on Shaner Boulevard south of Pennsylvania Avenue at 5:28 p.m. June 9. Steven Vangrouw, 53, Cresco, was exiting the gas pump after filing his vehicle, a 2017 Ford F-250, with gas and attempted to make a left-hand turn around the pump. The vehicle struck the gas pump, causing damage to both the vehicle and gas pump. Vangrouw left the store without providing information regarding the incident. He will be cited for accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property.
JUNIATA TWP. — State police at Huntingdon investigated a one-vehicle crash on Piney Ridge Road near Thompson Road at 8:16 p.m. June 10. A 17-year-old Huntingdon male was operating a 2003 Ford Focus north when he failed to negotiate a right turn, lost control of the car and struck a guide rail. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The operator and one of the passengers, a 16-year-old female, were not injured. A 14-year-old female passenger suffered minor injuries. The operator and passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The operator will be cited for the incident.
SMITHFIELD TWP. — State police at Huntingdon investigated a one-vehicle crash on William Penn Highway west of South 10th Street. An 18-year-old Mount Union male was operating a 2015 BMW 3281 east when he fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to cross the opposing lane of traffic and strike a guide rail on the north berm. The vehicle rotated slightly counter clockwise and came to a final rest facing north in the westbound lane. The male was cited for careless driving. No injuries were reported and he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
