Drug possession

PORTER TWP. — A 23-year-old Williamsburg man was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after state police at Huntingdon conducted a traffic stop for summary traffic violations on William Penn Highway and River Road at 12:55 p.m. March 11.

WALKER TWP. — State police at Huntingdon report a 55-year-old Saxton man was stopped for speeding on the 10800 block of Raystown Road at 10:07 a.m. March 11 and was subsequently found to be in possession of marijuana.

SMITHFIELD TWP. — State police at Huntingdon conducted a traffic stop on William Penn Highway and Snyders Run Road at 12:10 p.m. March 4. A 28-year-old Mount Union man, the operator of the vehicle, was found to be in possession of drugs and was taken to J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital for a blood draw.

Criminal mischief

SMITHFIELD TWP. — A 63-year-old Huntingdon man reported to state police at Huntingdon at 10:59 a.m. Wednesday unknown that someone damaged his home on Pine Street by throwing eggs at the rear and side of his residence, then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact state police at Huntingdon at 627-3161.

MOUNT UNION BORO. — A 40-year-old Mount Union man reported to state police at Huntingdon the rear tail light of his vehicle was damaged by unknown means with unknown items at Wrangletown Road and Gallagher Street at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday. The actor(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The damages are valued at $150.

Crash

WALKER TWP. — State police at Huntingdon investigated a one-vehicle crash on Hartslog Valley Road at 4:59 a.m. March 13. The unnamed driver was operating a 2009 Nissan Sentra south when they struck a patch of ice on the roadway, causing the vehicle to exit the west berm of the road, travel up an embankment and overturn on its roof. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. There were no injuries associated with the crash.
