Winner named in TDN First Baby Contest

Ryker James Isenberg, the son of Olivia “Liv” (Stewart) and Jarod Isenberg of Alexandria, was officially declared the winner of the 2019 Daily News’ First Baby Contest. Little Ryker entered the world at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Thanks to the sponsorship of area business, the Isenbergs received gift baskets from H&R Block, Precious Petals & Gifts and the Medicine Shoppe, gift cards from Hoss’s Steak and Sea House and Orbisonia Hardware, a piggy bank from Community State Bank of Orbisonia and a 13-week subscription to The Daily News. Though not winners of this year’s contest, another baby was also born in the TDN circulation area New Year’s Day. Keith and Natalie (Roll) Ryan of DeForrest Road, Huntingdon, welcomed baby Kruz Andros Ryan to the world at 5:42 p.m. Jan. 1. Kruz weighed 6 pounds 1 oz and measured 19.5 inches in length. He was born at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Natalie teaches Spanish at Huntingdon Area High School, while Keith is employed by Penn State University. Baby Kruz is the couple’s first child.
