Upcoming events at the Alexandria Library:

The annual Alexandria Community Holiday Party will be held Friday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. on the lawn of the Alexandria Library. This entirely outdoor event will begin with caroling and a tree lighting. After Santa’s grand arrival, he will take his place in his sleigh on the lawn where attendees may wait in line to pose for a picture next to the sleigh. Join us as we kick off the holiday season with this annual tradition!

Area homeschool students and their accompanying adults are encouraged to come to the Alexandria Library for a chance to meet-up with other homeschool families and work side by side on your current lessons at the Homeschool Hangout. These gatherings will take place on the first, third, and if there is a fifth, Thursday of the month beginning at 11 a.m. Stay for a few hours or stay all day. Free public Wi-fi is available to all attendees.

For more information about these events, please call the library at 814-669-4313.
