What and Where Wednesday

Last week’s What and Where Wednesday, published March 13, featured the “salmon hole” at Warriors Path State Park near Saxton. Kimberly Ord of Mount Union correctly identified the spot as the state park. Many suggested that the photo might be of the cliffs at Raystown Lake, including John Hawn of Huntingdon, Dave Grissinger of Camp Hill, Sue Pollock of Huntingdon, Richard Cox of Cass Township and Glenn Scott of Mount Union. Sharp-eyed readers are invited to participate in “What and Where Wednesday,” every week by submitting their guess as to the Huntingdon County location of a weekly photo highlighting a local landmark or hidden hideaway. To submit a guess, email afeagley@huntingdondailynews.com and be sure to include the submitter’s name and where they are from. Suggestions for future What and Where featured locations are welcome as well.
