Alice F. Dunkle, 80, of 10111 Mountain Road, Mill Creek, died at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon.

Born Feb. 5, 1939, in Cumberland, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Hardinger) Davis. She was united in marriage to Harold S. Dunkle March 7, 1964. Mr. Dunkle preceded her in death Aug. 18, 2003.

Mrs. Dunkle is survived by a daughter and son, Alice Fay Hall and husband, Thomas, Crownsville, Maryland, and Harold S. Dunkle and fiancée, Denise Anderson, Mill Creek; three grandchildren, Christian Hall, Kevin Hall and Alena Prue; and a great-granddaughter, Aryanna Zannino.

She is also survived by a brother, Thomas Davis and wife, Carol, Cameron, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Betty Mae Barley, Shirley Jean Hawkins and Richard Ronald Davis.

Mrs. Dunkle was a member of the Mill Creek United Methodist Church.

Primarily a homemaker, she enjoyed volunteering in her community and with Meals on Wheels.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Lou Zannino officiating. Interment will be made in the Mountainview Cemetery, Mill Creek.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday, May 10, and from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Dunkle may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 Schoolhouse Hollow Road, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
