Curtis Clark Carson, 86, Huntingdon, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at his home, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born Oct. 5, 1934, in Bellefonte, Centre County, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth Carson. He was united in marriage to the former Marie Yeckley, who survives at their home.

Mr. Carson is survived by a son and daughter, Dr. Greg Carson, DMD, Fenwick Island, Delaware, and Cheryl (Carson) Smith and husband, Kenneth, Huntingdon; and one granddaughter, Teresa Smith.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Karen Carson.

He was preceded in death by his loving brothers, Tom and Jim Carson, both of whom lived in Mill Creek.

Mr. Carson was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Huntingdon.

He served as a sergeant first class radio operator during the Korean War.

Mr. Carson belonged to the Mill Creek Lions Club.

He worked as a record supervisor at SCI Huntingdon for 38 years.

Mr. Carson enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Father Mark Reid officiating. Committal will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Huntingdon.

Family members will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the hour of services, with a recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 a.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon.
