Dorothy A. Bonsell, 77, 604 Moore St., Huntingdon, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at her home, following an extended illness.
Born Jan. 23, 1943, in Huntingdon, she was a daughter of the late Bruce and Winifred (Harman) Miller. She was united in marriage to George A. Bonsell, who survives of Huntingdon.
Mrs. Bonsell is survived by four children, Gail A. Garner and William G. Heffner and wife, Betty, all of Huntingdon, Carl B. Heffner and wife, Tracey, Mount Union, and Jeffery H. Heffner, McConnellsburg; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Pearl Devor, Thompsontown, and a brother, Robert Miller, Huntingdon.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Hughes, Jane Walker and LuElla Miller, and a brother, Bruce Miller.
Mrs. Bonsell was of the Pentecostal faith.
She worked in the bakery at the former Riverside Market at one time and was then a homemaker.
Mrs. Bonsell loved camping, hunting and fishing. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed feeding the wildlife. She loved seeing and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved watching John Wayne movies.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of her family with the Rev. Richard Harter, hospice chaplain, officiating. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon.
