Harry Edward “Fuzz” Fessler, 83 of Dudley, passed away at his home Friday, Sept. 11, 2020.

Born May 30, 1937, in Dudley, he was a son of the late Edward Harry and Amanda Violet (Black) Fessler. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (Leabhart) Fessler Jan. 30, 2008.

Surviving are daughter, Merrie Lou Kaminsky, wife of Eugene, son, Eddie Fessler, husband of Virginia, daughter, Andrea Fields, wife of Don, grandchildren, Jordan Kaminsky and fiancé Dustin Pine, Dylan Fields, husband of Melissa, Joelle Kaminsky, Bailey Fields, stepgrandchildren, Scott White, Kristen Veitch, stepgreat-grandchildren, Brennen, Chloe, Cambree and Hadlee.

Also surviving are sisters, Dorothy Flanders, Fae Montreal, sisters-in-law, Bertha Fessler, Judy Brode, Sherry Love, wife of Tom, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters, Olive Stevens, Cleoma Stoner, twin sister Harriet Morningstar, Carol Jean Fessler and brothers, Wilmer and Raymond Fessler.

Mr. Fessler attended the Broad Top City Church of God.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He held memberships in the Saxton Sportsman’s, Broad Top American Legion, Saxton VFW, and was a lifetime member of the Broad Top Oldtimers Association.

He worked as a union carpenter.

He was an avid Tussey Mountain sports fan and enjoyed aggravating the girls at Our Place and the guys from J&J Svonavec Excavating Inc. as well as volunteering for the Broad Top Parks and Recreation.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Broad Top City Church of God with the Rev. Ron Wilson officiating. Interment will take place in the IOOF Cemetery, Broad Top City.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
