Jane E. Walker, 73, of 123 Oak Lane, Mount Union, passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 6, 2019, at her home.
Born July 11, 1945, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Bruce C. Miller Sr. and Winifred (Harmon) Miller. She was united in marriage to Kenneth L. Walker Oct. 19, 1968, in Winchester, Virginia. Mr. Walker survives at their home.
Mrs. Walker is survived by two children, Marcie Jane Dysard and husband, Percy, of Huntingdon, and Daniel K. Walker and wife, Rose, of McVeytown; three grandchildren, Mandy McCracken, Emily Dysard and Levi Dysard; and two great-grandchildren, Tristin and Wyatt Brenneman.
She is survived by her siblings, Faye Devore and husband, Chet, of Mifflintown, Dorothy Bonsell and husband, George, Robert O. Miller and wife, Pat, and Louella Creswell, all of Huntingdon; and a sister-in-law, Dot Miller of Huntingdon.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Baker and Bruce C. Miller Jr.
Mrs. Walker had attended New Life Fellowship, Mount Union, for many years.
She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School.
Mrs. Walker had been employed by the former U.S. Sports, Huntingdon, for over 35 years.
She enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, hunting, camping, biking and being outdoors.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with the Rev. Ramon Morgan officiating. Interment will be made in the Mount Union Cemetery.
There will be a private family viewing.
