Jimmy Victor Allen, 78, Mount Union, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

Born Dec. 26, 1942, in Mount Union, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Thomas) Allen.

He is survived by his children, Dwayne Allen, Florida, Victoria Allen, Gettysburg, stepchildren, Felicia and Yanntia Garner, both of Philadelphia, and many grandchildren.

Also surviving are siblings, James Allen, Philadelphia, Annie Rogers, Mount Union and Milton Allen, brothers-in-law, Chuck Funderburk and Lawrence Funderburk, both of Philadelphia, sister-in-law, Margaret Bates, Philadelphia, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol (Funderburk) Allen, siblings, Robert Allen, Oakley and Mary Thomas.

Mr. Allen was a 1962 graduate of Captain Jack High School.

He worked as a cook in Philadelphia before retiring.

He moved back to Mount Union to live with his sister and niece. He enjoyed all sports and spending time with his family.

At Mr. Allen’s request, there will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union, “Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care™.”
