Lillie Ann Brennan, 82, of Martinsburg, passed away Friday afternoon, April 12, 2019, at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, following a lengthy illness.
Born March 21, 1937, in Saxton, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Dorothy S. (Dolt) Worthing. She was united in marriage to Gerald D. Brennan July 16, 1954, in Winchester, Virginia. Mr. Brennan preceded her in death May 30, 2001.
Mrs. Brennan is survived by a daughter, Deborah Long and husband, Ron, of Pittsburgh; a son, Willis D. Brennan and wife, Lucinda; three grandsons, D.R. Long II and wife, Courtney, Brent Brennan and wife, Brianne, and Kevin Brennan and wife, Ashley; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers, Glen Worthing of Hollidaysburg and Thomas Worthing of Middletown.
Mrs. Brennan was of the Brethren faith.
She was member of Daughters of the Nile, Hollidaysburg Chapter 471 Order of the Eastern Star and also a longtime member of the former Roaring Spring Chapter 121 Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Brennan was a 1954 graduate of Saxton-Liberty High School.
She was employed for many years as a nurse’s aide at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.
Mrs. Brennan loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working at the Altoona Curve baseball games and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren race go-carts.
A funeral service will be held at noon Monday, April 15, at the John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, with the Rev. Mark “Cappy” Lingenfelter officiating. Private interment will be made in Fockler Cemetery, Saxton.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
