Linda Eileen Deihl, 76, The Homestead at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon, died at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at The Oaks at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon.

Born Sept. 18, 1944, in Tyrone, she was a daughter of the late George P. and Lida Maxine (Boonie) Deihl.

She is survived by a son, Scott Matthew Deihl, Annville.

Miss Deihl was a member of the Crever Memorial United Methodist Church, Petersburg.

She also belonged to the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Co. and Auxiliary and the Juniata Valley Alumni Association.

Miss Deihl was a 1962 graduate of Juniata Valley High School.

She retired in 1998 after 36 years as a secretary for Penn State University.

Miss Deihl enjoyed flower gardening, baking, cooking, reading and crossword puzzles. She had been a resident of Huntingdon County since 1944.

Friends may call at the Cutright Funeral Homes, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon, from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Nov. 23, with the Rev. Joe Fleck officiating. COVID restrictions will be in place and masks must be worn in the funeral home at all times. Interment will be made in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Petersburg.
