Mary Jane DeLuna, 94, of 307 Pine St., Alexandria, died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019, at UPMC Altoona.

Born April 7, 1924, in Alexandria, she was the daughter of the late J.F. and Anna (Johnson) Mickey. She was united in marriage to Silfred DeLuna Nov. 20, 1954, in Gettysburg. Mr. DeLuna preceded her in death April 23, 1994.

Mrs. DeLuna is survived by two sons, Mickey Silfred DeLuna of Alexandria and Danial Alan DeLuna and wife, Raquel, of San Francisco, California.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Strutin.

Mrs. DeLuna was a loyal and longtime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Huntingdon.

She was a 1942 graduate of Alexandria High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in home economics at Penn State University in 1945 after three years of study.

Mrs. DeLuna was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Alexandria.

Private graveside services will be held in the Alexandria Presbyterian Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Huntingdon.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Cutright Funeral Homes — Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon.
