Richard C. Miller, 67, of Orbisonia, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, in Todd Township, Huntingdon County, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Born July 11, 1954, in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Richard Miller and Beverly (Doyle) McElrath. He had been married to the former Carolyn McMath who preceded in death.
He is survived by three children, Jennifer Heaster and husband Scott of Sykesville, Maryland, Richie Miller, Rockhill, and Matt Miller and wife Krysta of Greencastle, and five grandchildren, Taylor Heaster, Emmalyn Heaster, Ally Miller, Masalyna Miller and Grant Miller.
He is also survived by three siblings, Craig Miller and wife Nancy, Gambrills, Maryland, William McElrath and wife Karen, Orbisonia, and Annette LaBarre and husband Scott, Bethlehem.
Mr. Miller was a member of Mount Union Lodge 688, F&AM, Mount Union.
He retired from Johnson Controls Inc., Waynesboro, after 35 years of service.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching the Steelers, but what he loved most of all was spending time with his five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
