The Daily News

Dear Editor:

Are you content and satisfied with the condition of your life? One of the effects of this pandemic is a desire to get back to normal. Life as we know it has been changed. Everything has been turned upside down. Everything is different. But what was your life about before this? Was there meaning and purpose in your life? Or has something always been missing? Have you been asking, “Isn’t there something more?” And now God has used this pandemic to shake you up and to show you that something is missing. You were created to know and love God. You do not need to get back to normal. You need to come to Jesus. You need to repent and be saved. You need to have life in Jesus so that you can know meaning and purpose each day.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” This is called new life in Jesus. And this is where true meaning and purpose is found. This is how you can know contentment and satisfaction. And a virus will not change or alter your life. You’re living in God’s love every day.

Life is more than just getting through each day. Jesus is the meaning and purpose of life. And He will give you new life today if you will call upon Him in repentance and faith.
