I was wondering if anyone could put in the definition of the different forms of government, like communist, socialist, republic, democracy and dictatorship. I keep reading in the paper that we're a democracy and the Pledge of Allegiance says we're a republic. Which is it? If we're a democracy or republic, how come they never forget about history?
