Ron Anders rolled his first career 300 game while bowling for Smith Tax Service in the Outlaw League Wednesday evening.
Anders started his night with a 202 game, then rolled perfection before finishing with a 162 for a 664 series. His previous high game was a 276 and his best series before last night was a 632.
After 11 good balls during his perfect game, nerves got to Anders on the 12th. He pulled the shot and it went across the head pin, but the “Brooklyn” hit carried for the final strike. “I was able to keep my head down and hit my mark, except for the last ball,” said Anders. “Everyone can use a little luck every now and then.”
This was the 14th 300 game of the season at Holliday Bowl in Mill Creek.
