The Huntingdon golf team slipped to 10-8 on the season with a 320-357 non-league to visiting Altoona Tuesday afternoon at the Huntingdon Country Club.

Andon Suchan Suchan had the low round for the Bearcats with an 80. Brady Handy finished with an 86, while Ryan Marshall shot 90 and Jordan Houck came in at 101. In non-scoring roles, Levi Shope shot 106 and Will Guyer-Wright 110.

Altoona’s Scott Lawhead was medalist for the day with a 75. Marcus Lucas shot 78, Trent Myers 83 and Lucas Muffie ended with 84.

“We didn’t quite do as well as i’d hoped today,” said Huntingdon coach Scott Eicrhelberger. “The season is going really quickly and all four of our top players were in the County Open over the weekend. They’re starting to get a little tired.”

The Beacat will be home again Thursday when they host the third and final eight-team league meet, beginning at 1 p.m.
