Huntingdon had six pins, a default and received three forfeits in a 60-15 win over Central Thursday evening at Martinsburg.

It was the 11th straight win for the unbeaten Bearcats. Central is now 3-8 for the season.

“We did what we needed to do tonight,” said Huntingdon coach Jon Mykut. “We scored a lot of bonus points and only lost one fall. We have to search for bonus points every time we take the mat. We're going to have a tough weekend coming up and we'll need to be our best.”

Last night's match started at 113 where Central's Alex Bowman built an 11-4 lead before pinning Caden Reamer in 5:10. After Huntingdon's Eric Miley (120) received a forfeit to even the score, then Roland Mills (126), trailing 7-2, reversed Ian Crouch and got a pin in 3:54 to put the Bearcats ahead to stay.

Central's Brandon Holsinger (132) escaped in the third period to get a 3-2 win over the Bearcat's Brynen Kisiel. Huntingdon answered with three straight wins to take command of the match.

Huntingdon added 30 unanswered points with five straight wins. Myles Baney (170) started the run by accepting a forfeit. Central's Michael Fowks (182) got the opening takedown on Ryder Kocik, but the Bearcat quickly reversed and pinned Fowks in 38 seconds.
