The Calvary Christian Academy boys battled back from a slow start and only trailed visiting DuBois Christian School 23-17 at halftime. DuBois outscored the Conquerors 22-11 in the second half to take home a 45-28 victory.

Eli Ehresman was the only Calvary player in double figures, finishing with 11. David Donnelly contributed eight. Gabe Hoover scored 16 and Dave Thomas 10 for DuBois.

Thursday, Calvary’s girls dropped a 53-17 decision to Cambria County Christian School. Calvary trailed 31-13 at halftime.

Lauren Corbin and Haylee Zimmerman each scored four points to lead the Conquerors. Hannah Petrunak scored 14, Hope Fenchak 12 and Brionna McMullen 10 for Cambria County

Both Calvary teams are 1-3 for the season.

Both Conqueror teams are home Tuesday when they host cross-town rival Huntingdon Christian Academy.
