Three area teams have survived first-round matchups to advance in the PIAA basketball championships. Huntingdon’s boys and Juniata Valley’s girls will both play Tuesday, while Tussey Mountain’s girls next play Wednesday.

Huntingdon (25-0) will face Hickory (25-1) in its second-round game at DuBois Area High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Juniata Valley (22-3) will square off against West Middlesex (23-3) at 6 p.m. at Punxsutawney High School.

Tussey Mountain (18-8) meets Vincentian Academy (13-12) at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Central Cambria High School.

Advance tickets are available at all three schools. Huntingdon and Juniata Valley will have tickets available at the school today and Tuesday until noon. Tussey Mountain will have tickets on sale today, tomorrow and until noon Wednesday.

Advance tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students. All tickets at the game site are $6.
