The Tussey Mountain baseball team managed to collect just four hits in a 10-0 loss in five innings at Bellwood-Antis on a rainy Monday afternoon.

The Titans got their four hits from the first two hitters in the lineup in Kaden Lucko and A.J. Lopez. Lucko and Lopez both went 2-for-3 on the day. Lucko also stole a base.

The only other Tussey Mountain players that reached on base came in the fourth inning when Matt Watkins reached on an error, and Nick Brumbaugh walked.

Bellwood-Antis pitcher Zach Miller pitched all five innings of shutout ball, allowing the four hits and walking one, while striking out six.

The Blue Devils scored a run in the bottom of the first as Cooper Guyer singled and advanced a base each on three wild pitches.

Bellwood put three runs across in the second with all three being unearned. Owen Shedlock reached on an error and later scored on another error. Joe Dorminy also added an RBI single in the frame.

Bellwood blew the game open in the third inning as rain picked up. The Blue Devils had five hits in the inning, and also took advantage of two Titan errors.

Nick Kost had a two-run single in the third, while Jack Luensmann and Dylan Barr each had an RBI single.

Caleb Barnett tossed the first three innings for Tussey Mountain, allowing one earned run on seven hits, walking five and striking out one. Lopez pitched a scoreless fourth inning.

Tussey Mountain, which dropped to 1-11 on the season, is back in action on Thursday when they host Northern Bedford.
